$12 per class or 4 for $40.Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese, defensive martial art, now practiced primarily for its health and exercise benefits. Tai Chi will help the practitioner achieve better strength and balance and is, therefore, especially helpful to people as they age. It does not require a lot of exertion to practice, as all of the moves done by beginners are slow and gentle.
The beginning student will learn one or two moves in each class. The moves connect smoothly and gently together into an artful form that, over time, will increase a person's stamina, balance, strength, and vigor. It is truly fun, and not arduous, unlike many other forms of exercise.
Joseph Bergin has practiced Yang Style Tai Chi since 2004. He studies with Martha Cheo who has practiced for over 20 years and taught for many years as well.
You should wear comfortable, non-binding clothing. Flat-bottomed shoes are best, but not required. $12 per class or 4 for $40
Intro to Reiki Hand Positions and Chakra Healing
Learn about Usui Reiki -- Dr. Mikao Usui was the creator of Reiki, the Japanese healing modality, which helps with stress reduction, promotes healing on every level, and aids in relaxation and deepening meditation.
Reiki uses universal life force energy to heal through touch. This workshop will teach you how to ground yourself, use your breath, and learned Reiki hand positions to heal yourself and others.
Reiki hand positions go over chakras and joints in the body. We'll discuss the importance of chakra balancing, and how to unblock your chakras through Reiki.
Suggested Donation of $20-25
