Live Music Community Yoga at Stone Wave Yoga!

Join us for an evening of slow flow/restorative yoga accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Matt Nobile. 

ALL LEVELS WELCOME. COME AS YOU ARE.

Matt uses stringed and flute instruments over a drone to set the mood and to respond to and guide the ebb and flow of the class. It's an incredibly unique experience taylored to emphasize community and connectedness.

Set donations of $5-15. Tips can be given directly to the musician.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in.

Class is followed by a reception in our back studio where you can drink, snack, and commune with staff and classmates. We highly encourage you to stay and chat!

Live Hoot Owls at the Hoot Owl

Wild Mountain Birds is returning to the Hoot Owl with our barred owls, screech owls, a barn owl and various other live raptors. This is a great chance to get close to these awesome native birds, take some photos, ask questions about the species or about birding in this area, and, of course, go inside for some amazing food and drinks! Donations go right back to the birds to help pay for the food, medicine and facilities used to rehabilitate nearly 300 wild birds every year.

A creative mix of high intensity interval training and light strength based workouts performed in a safe and modifiable application for all involved. The workouts are constantly varied targeting all muscle groups, cardiovascular and neuro-muscular systems. Dynamic Strength class will improve your cardio, balance, strength and coordination at any level of fitness.

Tai Chi Classes at Gardiner Library!

$12 per class or 4 for $40.Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese, defensive martial art, now practiced primarily for its health and exercise benefits. Tai Chi will help the practitioner achieve better strength and balance and is, therefore, especially helpful to people as they age. It does not require a lot of exertion to practice, as all of the moves done by beginners are slow and gentle. 

The beginning student will learn one or two moves in each class. The moves connect smoothly and gently together into an artful form that, over time, will increase a person's stamina, balance, strength, and vigor. It is truly fun, and not arduous, unlike many other forms of exercise.

Joseph Bergin has practiced Yang Style Tai Chi since 2004. He studies with Martha Cheo who has practiced for over 20 years and taught for many years as well. 

You should wear comfortable, non-binding clothing. Flat-bottomed shoes are best, but not required. $12 per class or 4 for $40

We are excited to announce to you that LACE Photo Media will be hosting it's second annual Craft Market Walk, Saturday, June 2nd 11AM-7PM

Featuring local craft artisans throughout the walk to peruse and purchase from, musicians will be stationed all along the way.  Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital, Gardiner Library, Gardiner Fire Department and Gardiner Association of Businesses.
