About the instructor: Rogelio Zuniga Rubio began his Yoga practice about 12 years ago in NYC He soon found Acroyoga and fell in love with all elements of partner practice and especially Thai massage which, to him, embodies his personal path toward service and healing. He completed his first Thai Massage training in 2009 and has continued to study with his mentor Ananda Apfelbaum as well as Nephyr Jacobson of The Naga School since. He began to teach Thai massage 3 years ago. He completed his teacher 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training at YogaMaya in NYC in 2014.
$12 per class or 4 for $40.Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese, defensive martial art, now practiced primarily for its health and exercise benefits. Tai Chi will help the practitioner achieve better strength and balance and is, therefore, especially helpful to people as they age. It does not require a lot of exertion to practice, as all of the moves done by beginners are slow and gentle.
The beginning student will learn one or two moves in each class. The moves connect smoothly and gently together into an artful form that, over time, will increase a person's stamina, balance, strength, and vigor. It is truly fun, and not arduous, unlike many other forms of exercise.
Joseph Bergin has practiced Yang Style Tai Chi since 2004. He studies with Martha Cheo who has practiced for over 20 years and taught for many years as well.
You should wear comfortable, non-binding clothing. Flat-bottomed shoes are best, but not required. $12 per class or 4 for $40
